The Club have also announced Tom Rees as their new captain replacing retired Rapheal Ibanez. A product of the Wasps Academy, the 24 year old Wasps and England flanker has already been recognised within the Club as a key leader, both on and off the pitch, captaining the side in the latter half of 2008/09 following the departure of Raphael Ibanez.
Rees (who wears Nike Tiempo legend 3 Rugby boots) over a short time has developed as one of Wasps senior figures, already accruing 95 1XV appearances with his Club alongside 15 international caps. Progressing through the Wasps ranks, having only ever played in black and gold, Rees shows the strength of not only his developing talent with honours at every England age grade but of his dedication, having overcome injury to still stand as one of the most reputable players in the current game.
