Lovell Rugby Reviews- Mizuno Morelia Rugby Boots

Lovell Rugby has chosen this week to look at the Mizuno Morelia Rugby Boots. This has been Mizuno’s Pinnace boot since it was first introduced in 1985. The boots were first soley aimed as a Football boot. Although over the years they have become recognised as a Fantastic Rugby Boot.

Within Rugby circles Mizuno Rugby boots are spoke of highly. Well made with good quality materials, they are extremely comfortable and their performance doesn’t disappoint. Now take all of these factors and multiply them by ten, and you’re close to the Mizuno Morelia Rugby Boots.

The Boots are currently being worn by Players such as Ex All Blacks and Now Ospreys Forward Jerry Collins, Ex All Black and London Irish Captain Clarke Dermody and Australia’s lethal Wing Drew Mitchell.

These football boots are handmade in Japan and the quality is apparent, the Kangaroo leather is lightweight and supremely comfortable with classic styling and stitching. The leather responds instantly to the ball from the first wear to the last, giving instant comfort and feel.

Mizuno have stated the Morelia boot is made to exact standards for the Rugby Elite players. This is again evident in the padded heel collar, which protects the heel area whilst offering stability and support during movement. Helping movement and traction is Mizuno’s contoured PU outsole, available in a 13 studded firm ground version or 8 studded soft ground boot.

The 8 stud soft ground boot is a favourite within Rugby, as it offers a fantastic K-leather boot, which is lightweight and offering great traction with the 8 Studs.

As ever- We would love to hear your feedback- What Do You Think Of the Morelia’s?
